What causes illusions? From the perspective of the theory of in - depth processing and misapplication of constancy, illusions have cognitive roots.

When people perceive the size of three - dimensional objects in space, they always take distance into account. This is an important condition for maintaining the size constancy of objects.

When people consciously or unconsciously apply this characteristic of perceiving the three - dimensional world to perceiving flat objects, it will cause illusions.

In this sense, illusions are an exception to perceptual constancy and the result of people's misapplication of perceptual constancy.

Common symptoms include fever, fatigue, and discomfort in the affected area. Always consult with a healthcare professional for an accurate diagnosis.
Diagnosis typically involves a physical examination, medical history review, and possibly laboratory tests or imaging studies depending on the suspected cause.
Treatment options vary based on the specific condition, severity, and individual health factors. They may include medication, lifestyle changes, physical therapy, or in some cases, surgical intervention.
Seek immediate medical attention if you experience severe symptoms, rapid worsening of condition, or if self-care measures aren't providing relief within a reasonable timeframe.
